£2771.75 was raised for The Phyliss Tuckwell Hospice in Farnham at our recent annual LETZ ZEP charity show at the Farnham Maltings on Sat. 12th April.

                       

Many thanks to everyone involved, the band LETZ ZEP & CSL who did the Lights & Sound and most importantly to the fantastic sell out crowd who helped make it such a special evening.

Over 2 hours of classic tracks performed live by a collection  of outstanding musicians, singers & engineers, dedicated to creating the ultimate live PINK FLOYD experience.

Featuring a selection of tracks from "Saucerful Of Secrets, Meddle, Darkside Of The Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals, The Wall, Momentary Lapse Of Reason, The Division Bell plus a couple of posible surprise solo offerings, this show is a must for any fan of the mighty "FLOYD" (www.perfect-alibi.net).

 seYes, the N.W. England based classic '70's period YES tribute are coming "Down South Again" for a mini weekend tour and appearing at The Wharf in Tavistock on Sat. 13th September  & Mr Kyps in Poole on Sun. 14th September, full show and ticket info to follow ASAP.

seYes will also be appearing for us at the fabulous "Huntingdon Hall" in Worcester on Sat. 25th October - full show & ticket info to follow ASAP.

YES were possibly the most musically complex of the great '70's progressive rock bands and with Jon Anderson's wonderful / unique ethereal voice obviously makes a quality YES tribute a very rare item indeed.

seYes concentrate on the classic '70's period, ie. The Yes Album, Fragile, Close To The Edge, Tales From Topographic Oceans, Relayer & Going For The One.

We havn't given up on the fab Genesis tributes, things simply havn't worked out as preferrred early 2008, hope to have some news of some shows with GITC and others ASAP.

BY ROAD

From London / M25 - Take A3 approx 6 miles south of Guildford coming off at the Milford Junction, roundabout at top of slip road take 1st exit left........

From Porstmouth / M27 - Follow A3 approx 6 miles north of Hindhead coming off at the Milford junction, roundabout at top of slip road take 3rd exit (turn right) back over A3 and to the roundabout at the top ofthe southbound exit sliproad........ 

....... thr'o 1st set of lights then immediately left at 2nd set of lights brings you to a large roundabout, take 2nd exit following signs for A283 Petworth / Chichester Road. Follow for approx 6-8 miles thr'o Witley, on approaching Chiddingfold you will pass The Winterton Arms (Landlord plays in a great Kraftwerk tribute called Man Machine) road rises slightly then a sharp left hand bend, 150 - 200 yards take the 1st on right, this is Woodside road, club entrance is approx 400 yards on right. 

From Chichester / Petworth - Follow A283 north through Northchapel and on into Chiddingfold, on entering the village The Swan Hotel is on your right hand side then almost immediatley a sharp right hand bend by The Crown Inn brings you into the heart of the village and its famous green, turn immediately left into Coxcombe Lane and follow for approx 1/2 mile to its end @ a T junction with Woodside Road, turn left, club entrance is immediately on your right (50 yards).

The entrance to the music venue is on the left hand / car park side of the building behind the main club house & bar which will be in use throughout the evening and is strictly a members only establishment. 

Limited car parking is available on a first come first served basis, otherwise its out on the road, please give due consideraton to the local residents and access to their properties, we do not wish to upset the neighbours!

BY RAIL

WITLEY or HASLEMERE on the London Waterloo to Portsmouth line are the closest statons to the venue. Taxi to the venue is advised / necessary.

Rock / Live Music History

It is old news now but the infamous Chiddingfold Live Music / Rock Club is being lost forever as a music venue to re-development in May 2008.

Events are being planned by some promoters up to the end of April and details for these should be found on www.chiddingfoldnews.org.uk/ 

Stewart Payne of The Evening Standard wrote a famous article about the venue in March 2000, slightly out of date as Wishbone Ash have now appeared here on 5 further occasions since it was written but its content is still relevent today over 7 years later.  Click on the external link below!
